Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 2525 p4p, 2427 weight class) and Matthew Diggs (ranked 342 p4p, 329 weight class). Diggs has chosen 1017 freestyle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioni lands a nice shot that snaps Diggs's head back.
Carioni will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It seemed like Diggs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Diggs counters with a nice low kick that buckles Carioni's knee momentarily.
Diggs takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Diggs tries to close the distance and clinch but Carioni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
