Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Gurgel!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen dips to his left and cracks Gurgel with an uppercut!
It looks like Fabio Gurgel has been cut.
Cohen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gurgel at a distance.
Fabio Gurgel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gurgel fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cohen to the ground. Gurgel is now in Cohen's guard.
Gurgel trying to control the position from guard on top but Cohen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cohen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cohen wants to sweep here but Gurgel controlling him for the moment.
Gurgel advances to half guard.

Gurgel wants to pass to mount but Cohen is defending the position.

Gurgel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cohen pinned against the cage. Cohen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gurgel.
Cohen connects with a body shot that sends Gurgel's belly button to the back.
Cohen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gurgel in his tracks.
Nice sprawl there from Cohen as Gurgel shoots in.
Asher Cohen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabio Gurgel.
Cohen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gurgel under the eye.
Cohen lands a jab to the nose.
Gurgel is rocked!
Gurgel is aggressively charging in as Cohen backs up avoiding any damage. Cohen tosses out a jab and Gurgel runs right into it face first! Gurgel is out cold! Cohen dropped down on all fours and is barking in Gurgel's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
