The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ulatov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging OByrne to the ground. Ulatov is now in OByrne's guard.
OByrne wants to stand but Ulatov is controlling the position.

OByrne has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ulatov is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Ulatov tries to pull guard but OByrne holds him up against the cage and eventually Ulatov drops back down to his feet.

OByrne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ulatov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, OByrne has managed to get both his arms back between Ulatov's legs - danger averted.

Ulatov has an active guard here but OByrne has managed to pass into half guard.

OByrne escapes and gets back to his feet.
Ulatov goes for a double leg but OByrne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as OByrne continues to drive forward.
Ulatov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
