Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ulatov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joseph OByrne! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulatov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging OByrne to the ground. Ulatov is now in OByrne's guard. OByrne wants to stand but Ulatov is controlling the position. OByrne has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ulatov is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Ulatov tries to pull guard but OByrne holds him up against the cage and eventually Ulatov drops back down to his feet.
Ulatov pulls guard. OByrne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ulatov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! That's one minute gone in the round. OByrne escapes and gets back to his feet. Ulatov goes for a double leg but OByrne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as OByrne continues to drive forward. Ulatov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ulatov misses with a takedown attempt - OByrne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ulatov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ulatov has his takedown stuffed and OByrne counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ulatov shoots in but OByrne avoids the takedown attempt easily. OByrne throws a counter combo. Ulatov shoots and misses and OByrne scores with a counter punch that sends Ulatov to the canvas! OByrne smells blood - he's punishing Ulatov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ulatov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
