Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Olenev Stepanovich (ranked 309 p4p, 549 weight class) and Frederick Zwirn (ranked 50 p4p, 86 weight class). Stepanovich's entrance music is Swallowing Dust. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Frederick Zwirn enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Olenev Stepanovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frederick Zwirn! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zwirn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stepanovich throws a hook but Zwirn blocks it. Zwirn moves away from the strike by Stepanovich. Stepanovich keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Stepanovich on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Zwirn avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Zwirn lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Zwirn walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Frederick Zwirn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zwirn throws a looping overhand right but Stepanovich ducks down to avoid it. Stepanovich connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Zwirn closes the distance looking to clinch and Stepanovich counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stepanovich is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! It looks like Stepanovich has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Stepanovich attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Stepanovich is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stepanovich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zwirn manages to avoid it.
