Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Won Yong Jung (ranked 1518 p4p, 1325 weight class) and Pepper Brooks (ranked 145 p4p, 125 weight class). Brooks has chosen Pump Up The Jam as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pepper Brooks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks tries to close the distance and clinch but Jung swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brooks throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brooks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brooks misses with a low kick.
It looked like Jung was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Brooks.
Brooks is looking to clinch but Jung is avoiding it.
It looked like Jung wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brooks lands a lovely overhand right.
Brooks misses with an uppercut.
An attempted straight right counter from Jung misses the target.
Brooks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pepper Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jung throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brooks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jung moves forwards but Brooks connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brooks missing with a left hand there. Jung was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jung uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jung has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jung thuds his right hand into Brooks's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Brooks throws a hook to the side of Jung's head but Jung sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jung lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Brooks is rocked!
Jung looking to score a takedown. He gets a body lock and scores a very heavy trip takedown. That's knocked the wind out of Brooks! Jung lands strikes from the mount and the ref steps in to end the fight!
