Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bengan Bengtsson (ranked 3442 p4p, 4964 weight class) and Hector Mad Dog (ranked 306 p4p, 350 weight class). Hector Mad Dog is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bengan Bengtsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Mad Dog!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bengtsson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mad Dogs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bengtsson works Mad Dog's body with a nice hook.
Bengtsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Mad Dog sprawls well. He's pushed Bengtsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bengtsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Hector Mad Dog has been cut.
Mad Dog takes one on the button.
Bengtsson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mad Dog has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mad Dog moves in looking to clinch but Bengtsson pushes him off.

Bengtsson cracks Mad Dog with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mad Dog looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bengtsson finish him?

Mad Dog tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bengtsson lands a brutal uppercut that launches Mad Dog off his feet! Mad Dog tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
