Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puncher Face (ranked 757 p4p, 661 weight class) and Tony Viikinki (ranked 40 p4p, 33 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Puncher Face! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Viikinki! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Viikinki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Viikinki cracks Face with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Face looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Viikinki finish him?
It looks like Puncher Face has been cut. Tony Viikinki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Face tries to clinch but Viikinki moves out of range. Viikinki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Viikinki throws an off balance right hand
letting Face counter with a right hand. A jab lands there for Viikinki. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Viikinki throws an off balance right hand
enabling Face to counter with a crisp jab. Viikinki punishes Face's body with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viikinki throws a jab but it's blocked by Face. Face throwing a counter right hand but Viikinki manages to avoid it. Face tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Viikinki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Face misses with a body shot
and Viikinki counters with a crisp right hand that drops Face! Viikinki lets Face back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Viikinki throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Face tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Face throws out a powerful jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Face.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Viikinki drops Face with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Face looks back up at him and smiles so Viikinki waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Puncher Face's cut is getting worse. Viikinki throws an off balance right hand
and Face counters with a right hand to the body. Viikinki misses with a wild body shot. Face is looking to counter the offense by Viikinki and move into the clinch. Viikinki misses with a looping left. It looked like Face wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Viikinki throws a big shot that misses. Face looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Viikinki misses with a hook
and Face counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Viikinki thinking. Face has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Face there as he acknowledges the shot. Viikinki throws a right hand that misses
and Face counters with a stiff right hand. Face throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Viikinki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Viikinki misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Face to counter with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Viikinki loads up on a big right hand but Face slips the punch. Viikinki misses with an uppercut
and Viikinki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Face forces Viikinki back against the cage and clinches. A head punch blocked on the inside by Viikinki. Viikinki lands a nice shot to the body. Viikinki misses with some punches.
Viikinki tries to break the clinch but Face is controlling the position. Viikinki looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Viikinki avoids the elbow strike from Face, against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Face throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Viikinki blocks it with crossed arms. Viikinki is working Face over against the cage. Face is breathing heavily. Viikinki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Face backwards. Viikinki breaks the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Viikinki dominated that round. The cut man is working on Puncher Face's cut. That's time! Face's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Face throws a jab but it's blocked by Viikinki. Viikinki misses with a hook
and Face counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Face tries to close the distance and clinch up but Viikinki swats him away and circles back towards the center. A little jabbing left from Viikinki on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Face tries to clinch but fails miserably and Face takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Face throws a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viikinki throws a looping overhand right but Face ducks down to avoid it. Viikinki moves forwards but Face connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viikinki jabs at Face's body. Viikinki paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Viikinki misses with a left hand and Face counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Viikinki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Puncher Face's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Viikinki ducks right into an uppercut from Face. Viikinki might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Viikinki throws a right hand that misses
and Face counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Face is looking to clinch but Viikinki is avoiding it.
Viikinki looks like he wants to counter punch here. Face lands with a nice body punch. Face darts in and clinches Viikinki up against the cage. Face tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Viikinki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Viikinki has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Face lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Viikinki lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Face or not. Face looking to throw knees to the head but Viikinki is blocking nicely.

Viikinki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Face jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face slips a straight right by Viikinki. Viikinki cracks Face with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Viikinki misses with a lunging right hand
and Face counters with a straight right hand. A shot to the liver by Viikinki. Beautiful body shot. Face gets in close and instigates a clinch. Viikinki breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Face tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Viikinki counters with a nice right hand that sends Face toppling to the canvas! Viikinki misses with a looping left. It looked like Face was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Viikinki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Viikinki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Viikinki circles away from the clinch attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Viikinki! But no joy. Viikinki throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Face counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Face wants to clinch. Puncher Face has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viikinki misses the jab. Face fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Viikinki, pushing him back against the cage. Face with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Tony Viikinki has been cut. Face misses with an elbow strike.
Face is struggling to control the position. Viikinki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jeez, Puncher Face's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Viikinki! But no joy. Tony Viikinki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Viikinki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Face moves out of range and avoids them all easily. As Viikinki tries to get set, Face tries to push him back and clinch up but Viikinki manages to avoid the attempt. Viikinki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Face.
Viikinki lands a head shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Viikinki throws a right hand that misses
enabling Face to counter with a crisp jab.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Puncher Face. I think Viikinki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
