PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chike Obi (ranked 529 p4p, 694 weight class) and Anabolic Asteroid (ranked 83 p4p, 103 weight class). Asteroid has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chike Obi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anabolic Asteroid!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Asteroid was well out of range. Poor timing from Obi.

Anabolic Asteroid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asteroid tries to bum rush Obi with a series of wild strikes but Obi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Obi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anabolic Asteroid comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Asteroid has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
