PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uniesky Santaban (ranked 912 p4p, 1241 weight class) and Elvis Presley (ranked 121 p4p, 172 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Uniesky Santaban has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Uniesky Santaban seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santaban misses the shot to the body.
Santaban fails to land with a series of punches.
Santaban takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Santaban throws a quick inside leg kick.
Presley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Santaban manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Presley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Santaban throws a low kick but Presley moves out of range easily.
Santaban swats away the attempt to clinch by Presley.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Santaban, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Presley responds with a good body kick, but Santaban manages to step out the way in time.

Despite the aggression on Presley's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Presley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Presley there as he acknowledges the shot.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Presley in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
