Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Gazersky (ranked 941 p4p, 1515 weight class) and Saul Goodman (ranked 135 p4p, 192 weight class). Gazersky's entrance music is Clutch - Electric Worry. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marlon Gazersky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saul Goodman! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goodman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Goodman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Goodman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gazersky throws out the jab. Gazersky blocks the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gazersky throwing strikes but missing. Goodman has his hands on Gazersky's head, controlling the position. Goodman is looking to stand up but Gazersky isn't so interested in that idea. Gazersky controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gazersky connects with a couple of short punches. Gazersky in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gazersky throwing strikes from guard but Goodman blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Goodman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goodman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gazersky. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Goodman is on top in guard.
Gazersky looking for a sweep. Not yet Gazersky, not yet. Goodman stays in close to Gazersky's body and controls the position. Gazersky tries to land a sweep but no joy. Goodman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gazersky is trying to control the position but Goodman postures up. Gazersky wants to control but Goodman passes easily into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Goodman throws a shot from downtown. Gazersky moves away and avoids it. Goodman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goodman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gazersky eats them both and turns towards Goodman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Goodman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A cross from Gazersky lands. Goodman feints a jab promting Gazersky to slip. Goodman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gazersky slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gazersky pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Goodman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gazersky. Gazersky circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gazersky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gazersky with a body punch. A glancing blow. Goodman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Goodman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gazersky lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Goodman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Goodman. Gazersky blocks a jab. Gazersky throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Goodman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gazersky is in Goodman's guard. Gazersky with a nice head shot there. Gazersky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gazersky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goodman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marlon Gazersky will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Marlon Gazersky's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! A jab from Goodman finds it's way through Gazersky's defenses. Goodman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gazersky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Goodman. Goodman misses with the combination.
Saul Goodman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Goodman misses with a straight left. Goodman cracks Gazersky with a right hand to the side of the head. Goodman misses with a double jab
and Gazersky cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A swing and a miss from Goodman. Gazersky attempts a counter takedown but Goodman avoids it well and moves away. Goodman misses with a low kick.

Goodman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gazerskys head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Goodman. Gazersky manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Goodman cracks Gazersky with a nice body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Goodman scores with a shoulder strike. Goodman slowing the pace effectively.

Goodman digs a right hand underneath Gazersky's ribcage. Gazersky let out a lung full of air as it connected. Goodman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Goodman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Goodman creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gazersky's defenses. Gazersky is trying to stall.
Goodman comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Goodman dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Gazersky takes an elbow to the temple. Gazersky prevents a body shot from Goodman. A short right from Gazersky. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Goodman. The crowd are getting on Goodman's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Goodman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gazersky's elbow. Gazersky prevents a body shot from Goodman.

Marlon Gazersky's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Goodman moves out of range as Gazersky strikes. Oh Gazersky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gazersky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Goodman. Goodman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gazersky seems to have got his legs back now. Goodman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gazersky throws out the jab.

Goodman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gazersky to stand back up! Gazersky slips under a jab from Goodman. A swing and a miss from Goodman. Gazersky throws the left hand but Goodman avoids the punch easily. Gazersky jabs Goodman right on the nose. Goodman blinks but takes it well. Gazersky connects with a good right hand that stumbles Goodman. Goodman circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Saul Goodman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gazersky takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Goodman tries to clinch but Gazersky moves out of range. Goodman throws a lazy right hand but Gazersky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gazersky misses with an uppercut. Goodman takes the fight into the clinch. Gazersky stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Goodman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gazersky was well out of range. Poor timing from Goodman. Goodman drops Gazersky with a beautiful combination! Gazersky stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Goodman is looking for the KO! A looping hook to the body misses from Gazersky. Goodman does a little dance to reset his feet. Goodman tries to close the distance and clinch but Gazersky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Goodman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gazersky throws a looping overhand right but Goodman ducks down to avoid it. A clash of legs there as Gazersky blocks the low kick. Goodman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Goodman thows a leg kick but Gazersky checks it and Gazersky counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gazersky loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gazersky with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gazersky pushes down on Goodman's leg and manages to get into half guard. Goodman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gazersky.

A decent looking cross lands there for Gazersky. Goodman cracks Gazersky with a right hand to the side of the head. Goodman throws a nice inside leg kick. Goodman tries to clinch but Gazersky moves out of range. Goodman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gazersky is looking to counter punch. Gazersky throws a looping overhand right but Goodman ducks down to avoid it. Goodman looks to score with a jab to the body but Gazersky is just out of range. Gazersky changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Goodman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gazersky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goodman. Gazersky throws a body punch but Goodman moves out of range. Gazersky throws a jab when Goodman was well out of range. Gazersky takes a body punch but keeps moving. A punch lands to the side of Gazersky 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gazersky bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Goodman's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Goodman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gazersky on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Goodman tries to clinch but Gazersky moves out of range. Gazersky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goodman moves away. Gazersky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Goodman tries to land a body kick and Gazersky counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gazersky passes into half guard. Gazersky is thwarting Goodman's attempts to control the position. Goodman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gazersky. Goodman keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marlon Gazersky. I think Gazersky has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
