The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kozlov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Zelensky tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kozlov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kozlov moves to take his opponent's back.

Kozlov is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zelensky defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Kozlov is looking for the choke from the back position but Zelensky is controlling his hands well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Zelensky's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
