Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between J Gay G (ranked 1564 p4p, 2037 weight class) and Tommy Heceda (ranked 146 p4p, 188 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gay G might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Down. Heceda has chosen Hawaiian Kickboxer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, J Gay G!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Heceda!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G works the jab nicely.
Gay G shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heceda's guard.

Gay G has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Heceda, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

After winning the bout, J Gay G thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
