Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamil Hurst (ranked 513 p4p, 663 weight class) and Junior Barbosa (ranked 67 p4p, 90 weight class). Hurst's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Keep Their Heads Ringin'. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Junior Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Hurst coming out on top.
It looks like Junior Barbosa has been cut.
Hurst shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barbosa's guard.

Hurst escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barbosa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hurst controls Barbosa momentarily but Barbosa frees himself.

Barbosa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hurst has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barbosa has managed to get both his arms back between Hurst's legs - danger averted.
Barbosa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Hurst bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barbosa's head backwards.
Hurst is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Barbosa can do to turn this around?

Hurst looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Barbosa cracks a nice hook into Hurst's ribs.

A little feinted left hand from Hurst on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Nice takedown defense from Barbosa. No joy for Hurst on that attempt.

It seemed like Barbosa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hurst throws a hook but Barbosa blocks it.

Junior Barbosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barbosa flashes Hurst a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Hurst's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Hurst crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Barbosa punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Junior Barbosa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
