Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Riker (ranked 70 p4p, 169 weight class) and Herbert Kreischer (ranked 7 p4p, 8 weight class). Riker's entrance music is In The Summertime. A fine choice. Kreischer has chosen Bert Learns To Hip-Hop Dance To Post Malone as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that William Riker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily William Riker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Herbert Kreischer! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kreischer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Riker. Riker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kreischer, pushing him back against the cage. Kreischer misses with a punch on the inside.
Kreischer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Riker lands a body punch in the clinch. Kreischer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Riker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Riker tries to work over Kreischer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kreischer working aggressively here.

Kreischer tries to throw a body punch but Riker avoids it by throwing Kreischer back against the cage. Kreischer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Riker's elbow. Kreischer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Riker avoids it. Kreischer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Riker blocks it with crossed arms. Kreischer lands a body punch in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riker takes a knee to the side of the body. Riker is breathing heavily. Kreischer gets through Riker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kreischer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Riker backwards. Kreischer softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. They are putting on a show! Kreischer cracks Riker with an uppercut from hell and Riker crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kreischer's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Riker is rocked! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kreischer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Oh Riker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Riker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Riker seems to have got his legs back now. We've been hearing good reports from Riker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Kreischer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Riker's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kreischer's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kreischer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Riker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Riker wants to pass the guard but Kreischer is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kreischer looking for a sweep. Not yet Kreischer, not yet. Kreischer has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Riker has passed into side control.
Kreischer tries to buck Riker off but Riker is having none of it. Riker trying to control the action but Kreischer is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Herbert Kreischer dominated that round. The cut man is working on William Riker's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Nice defenses there by Riker. Riker tries to counter with a takedown but Kreischer is quick to defend against it. Riker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kreischer. Riker seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kreischer scores with a nice strike. Riker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kreischer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Riker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Riker looking for a guillotine here but Kreischer defends easily.

Riker has momentary wrist control but Kreischer slips an elbow through the middle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kreischer lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kreischer loads up on a big left hand. Riker felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kreischer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Riker can't hide his disappointment, as Kreischer celebrates the victory.
