Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jin Yi (ranked 536 p4p, 457 weight class) and Milo Andrianakis (ranked 67 p4p, 59 weight class). Yi comes to the cage accompanied by Wobble. Andrianakis has chosen The Andy Milonakis Theme Song as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jin Yi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milo Andrianakis!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Andrianakis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Andrianakis moves into range and clinches up with Yi.
Andrianakis pushes Yi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Yi tries a body shot but Andrianakis blocks it.
Andrianakis misses with a punch on the inside.
Yi taking a breather.
Yi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Andrianakis has him pressed against the cage.
Andrianakis can't find room to land a body shot as Yi controls the action.

Yi breaks from the clinch.
Andrianakis throws a body shot but no joy.
Yi throws a front kick aimed at Andrianakis's knee but Andrianakis avoids it well.
Yi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A big left from Andrianakis misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Yi counters with a stiff right hand.

Andrianakis looks to land a right hand but Yi moved out of range.
Andrianakis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The fighters circling - Andrianakis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Yi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Andrianakis takes a swing at Yi's ribcage but misses.

Yi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yi chips away with some ground and pound.
Andrianakis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yi is controlling him.
Yi advances to half guard.

Yi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andrianakis is just riding it out for now. Yi eventually gives up the hold.

Yi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Andrianakis sees it coming and defends easily.

Yi is working for a kimura but Andrianakis is defending it quite comfortably.
Andrianakis wants to get back to his feet.

Yi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Yi is nestled in close to Andrianakis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Andrianakis wants to get back to his feet.
Yi drops an elbow to the side of Andrianakis's head.
Andrianakis pushes Yi off looking to stand but Yi dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Andrianakis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Andrianakis makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Andrianakis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yi.
It seemed like Andrianakis was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Andrianakis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Milo Andrianakis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andrianakis blocks a low kick nicely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yi. Andrianakis shrugs it off though.
Andrianakis throws a poor cross that misses
and Yi counters with a body kick that stops Andrianakis in his tracks momentarily.
Andrianakis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Yi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Yi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nice defenses there by Yi.
Yi feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Milo Andrianakis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Andrianakis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Yi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Andrianakis. That did some damage!
Yi fails with a takedown attempt.
Yi wants to slow Andrianakis down by chopping away at his legs.
Andrianakis jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Andrianakis throws a jab but it's blocked by Yi.

Yi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Andrianakis misses with a right hand
and Yi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yi defending well as Andrianakis loads up on a big left hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jin Yi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Andrianakis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yi is looking to chop away at Andrianakis's legs.
Andrianakis lands a nice shot that snaps Yi's head back.
A punch lands to the side of Andrianakis 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Yi feints and as Andrianakis raises his hands in defense, Yi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Yi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Andrianakis is looking to stand up but Yi isn't so interested in that idea.
Yi distracts Andrianakis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Andrianakis manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Yi takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Jin Yi has been cut.
Yi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Andrianakis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yi backwards.

Yi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Andrianakis cracks Yi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nice uppercut lands for Andrianakis. That snapped Yi's head back.
Yi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Still in the clinch, Andrianakis scores with a nice short uppercut.
Andrianakis stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Yi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Andrianakis tries to throw a body punch but Yi avoids it by throwing Andrianakis back against the cage.
Andrianakis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Yi backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Andrianakis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Andrianakis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Andrianakis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andrianakis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Yi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Andrianakis.

Crunch! Yi slams his shin into Andrianakis's torso.

Andrianakis lands a glancing blow to the side of Yi's head.
Andrianakis lands a nice hook to Yi's body. Yi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Yi cracks Andrianakis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Yi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Andrianakis.

Yi throws a low kick but it's checked well by Andrianakis.

Yi is rocked!
Milo Andrianakis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Andrianakis misses with an uppercut. Yi saw that one coming.
Andrianakis throws a shot from downtown. Yi moves away and avoids it.
Andrianakis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yi throws a sloppy head kick and Andrianakis moves out of range easily.
Andrianakis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Andrianakis throws out a powerful jab.
Oh Yi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andrianakis drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Yi right on the button. Yi goes down! Andrianakis follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Andrianakis gets the win via TKO!

After winning the bout, Milo Andrianakis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
