The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marui tries to bum rush Kasai with a series of wild strikes but Kasai uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marui ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kasai moves away.
Kasai seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Marui rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kasai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Marui thinking.
Kasai scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Naoko Marui has been cut.
Marui throws a right and a left that Kasai avoids nicely.
Kasai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The crowd cheers as Marui lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kasai doesn't seem phased though.
