Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 928 p4p, 989 weight class) and Kwawi Mumba (ranked 126 p4p, 133 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kwawi Mumba!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Durant misses.
Mumba misses with a straight right.
Durant moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A cross from Durant lands.
Mumba scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Durant doesn't seem bothered though.

and Mumba counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Durant throws the left hand but Mumba avoids the punch easily.

and Mumba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mumba swats away the attempt to clinch by Durant.
Durant throws a lazy uppercut
and Mumba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mumba scores with a jab to the jaw.
Durant is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durant switches off momentarily and Mumba cracks him with a monster right hand! Durant topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Mumba dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Mumba!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kwawi Mumba!
Kwawi Mumba decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
