Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Dorkens (ranked 2695 p4p, 2850 weight class) and Braxton Driscoll (ranked 342 p4p, 365 weight class). Dorkens's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Harry Slash And The Slashtones - This Is Extreme. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Dorkens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braxton Driscoll!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Driscoll lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dorkens doesn't seem phased though.
Driscoll missing with a left hand there. Dorkens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Driscoll tries to sprawl but Dorkens drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Dorkens controlling the pace.

Driscoll manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dorkens keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Dorkens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dorkens throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Driscoll was covering up waiting for the punch and Dorkens finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Driscoll wants to get back to his feet but Dorkens passes into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Driscoll makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Driscoll throws the left hand but Dorkens avoids the punch easily.
Dorkens shoots in for a double leg but Driscoll sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dorkens tries to clinch but Driscoll is having none of it.

Dorkens shoots in and gets a takedown into Driscoll's guard.
Driscoll can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dorkens controls the pace.
Dorkens prevents Driscoll from getting back to his feet.

Driscoll pushes Dorkens off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Driscoll throws an overhand right that lands on Dorkens's shoulder, as Dorkens tries to avoid the shot.

Dorkens closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Driscoll's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Driscoll can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dorkens controls the pace.

Driscoll kicks Dorkens off and gets to his feet.

Driscoll misses with an uppercut.
Dorkens shoots in looking for a takedown. Driscoll tries to sprawl out of it but Dorkens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Driscoll manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dorkens is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Driscoll throws a hook to the side of Dorkens's head but Dorkens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dorkens seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Driscoll throws a shot from downtown. Dorkens moves away and avoids it.
Dorkens throws a counter high kick but Driscoll was just alert enough to avoid it.

Driscoll throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dorkens on the side of the head.
Driscoll jabs Dorkens right on the nose. Dorkens blinks but takes it well.

Driscoll is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Driscoll closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dorkens! Driscoll dives in looking to finish! Dorkens is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braxton Driscoll!
