Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyay Thuta (ranked 1197 p4p, 3279 weight class) and Jocky Brodie (ranked 169 p4p, 415 weight class). Brodie has chosen Braveheart Theme - Oakenfold Remix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jocky Brodie!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brodie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Thuta checks it well.
Brodie misses with a kick to the body
and Thuta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brodie lands a head kick!
A jab lands there for Thuta.
Thuta blocks a jab.
Thuta lands a big head kick that sends Brodie tumbling to the mat! Thuta takes a step backwards and waves Brodie back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Brodie is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brodie misses with a hook to the body
and Thuta counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Brodie falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

In his post fight interview, Pyay Thuta started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
