Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derrick Ryker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hulk Eye!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Ryker blocks the low kick.
Eye feints a jab promting Ryker to slip. Eye then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ryker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Eye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ryker circles away quickly and effectively.
Ryker wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Ryker clinches.
Ryker successfully pulls guard.
Eye must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ryker is trying to keep Eye in close.
Eye is looking to stand up but Ryker won't let him.
Eye has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ryker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Eye is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ryker pulls down on the head and he's put Eye to sleep! This one is all over!
