Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Garuda (ranked 8 p4p, 74 weight class) and Boris Krylov (ranked 1 p4p, 16 weight class). Garuda comes into the arena with Djiin Djiin blaring out of the sound system. Mantak Garuda could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Boris Krylov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Mantak Garuda!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Krylov!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garuda jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Boris Krylov has been cut.
Krylov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Mantak Garuda has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Krylov.
Garuda throws a sloppy head kick and Krylov moves out of range easily.
Garuda throws a body punch but Krylov moves out of range.
Krylov throws a one two combo.
Krylov misses with an uppercut
enabling Garuda to counter with a crisp jab.
Krylov drops Garuda with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Garuda looks back up at him and smiles so Krylov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Garuda seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krylov drops Garuda with a straight right hand, right on the button! Krylov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Krylov!

A very excited looking Boris Krylov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
