Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between White Goodman (ranked 872 p4p, 2974 weight class) and Kung Li (ranked 78 p4p, 249 weight class). Kung Li will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, White Goodman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kung Li!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman shoots in but Li avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Goodman shoots for a takedown but Li saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Goodman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Goodman showed some decent athleticism there.
Goodman controlling the pace.
Li wants to get back to full guard but Goodman has passed into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goodman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goodman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Li is trying to work for a sweep but Goodman has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li is trying to escape the mount.
Goodman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Li is trying to reverse the position but instead Goodman has taken his back - oops!
Goodman working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Li is doing well to defend. Goodman seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Li is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). White Goodman!
