Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between AdmiralGeneral Aladeen (ranked 2165 p4p, 938 weight class) and Marcus Shakes (ranked 193 p4p, 125 weight class). Aladeen comes into the arena with Gogol Bordello - Wonderlust King blaring out of the sound system. Shakes has chosen About the Money- T.I. as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Shakes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakes moves to clinch but Aladeen breaks away
and Aladeen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Aladeen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Aladeen's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Shakes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aladeen circles away quickly and effectively.

Shakes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Aladeen sprawling to the canvas! Aladeen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Shakes finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shakes darts in and clinches Aladeen up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Shakes.
Shakes lands a nice uppercut.
Shakes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Marcus Shakes seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Shakes lands a body shot in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shakes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Aladeen takes a knee right on the jaw!
Shakes lands a hook to the side of the head.
Shakes pushes off an throws an elbow but Aladeen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Shakes jerks Aladeen's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Aladeen drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Shakes goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Shakes because Aladeen was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Marcus Shakes!
