Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Watchman Nee (ranked 2125 p4p, 1031 weight class) and Ameen Robertson (ranked 305 p4p, 158 weight class). Robertson has chosen Regulate - Nate Dogg & Warren G as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nee pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Robertson back to the cage. Nee follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Oooooh!!! Robertson has knocked Nee down with a huge combo! Robertson steps away and waves a wobbly Nee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Robertson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Robertson, as that shot connected.

Robertson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nee had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Nee lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Robertson backs up against the cage.

Robertson throws a looping overhand right but Nee ducks down to avoid it.
Nee throws a series of punches but Robertson moves out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Robertson enables Nee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robertson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Robertson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nee tries to stand but Robertson is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Nee looks to land a left hand but Robertson moved out of range nicely.
Nee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Robertson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robertson.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nee cracks a nice hook into Robertson's ribs.
Robertson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nee doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Robertson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Robertson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nee rather than just go for the knockout.
Nee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Robertson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Robertson lands a left and a right that send Nee crashing to the mat, dazed. Robertson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Nee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Robertson cracks Nee on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nee falls backwards against the cage. Robertson follows up with more strikes that drop Nee to his knees. Robertson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nee! This one is all over!
