Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Razmik Grigorian (ranked 3079 p4p, 2034 weight class) and Horacio Sadaval (ranked 372 p4p, 249 weight class). Sadaval is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Prohibido Olvidar. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Horacio Sadaval was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Razmik Grigorian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grigorian gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Grigorian looking for a sweep. Not yet Grigorian, not yet. Grigorian has a closed guard, preventing Sadaval from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sadaval fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Grigorian was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Sadaval gets the takedown into side control. Grigorian explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Sadaval dives in for a single leg takedown but Grigorian sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sadaval shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. It looks like Sadaval is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grigorian tries to get to full guard but Sadaval has control of the leg. Sadaval wants to stand up but Grigorian has a hold of him and won't allow it. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Grigorian scores with a jab. Sadaval drives through with a takedown into guard. Sadaval wanted to stand there but Grigorian had control of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grigorian lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Sadaval is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Razmik Grigorian will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Sadaval closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Grigorian to the mat! Grigorian manages to get full guard. Grigorian is trying to keep Sadaval in close.
Sadaval wants to stand but Grigorian is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grigorian lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Sadaval wants to get back to his feet but Grigorian is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

He catches Grigorian napping and manages to drive through into side control! In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sadaval working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Sadaval wants to stand but Grigorian has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Grigorian is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sadaval tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sadaval is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grigorian sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sadaval looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grigorian is fending him off so far but Sadaval persists. Nope, Grigorian circles away and we're back to standing. Grigorian appears to be looking for a big counter. Sadaval looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A little feinted left hand from Grigorian on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Razmik Grigorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Horacio Sadaval. Sadaval tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grigorian swivels and escapes. Sadaval shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sadaval tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grigorian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sadaval somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sadaval tries to close the distance and clinch but Grigorian swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Grigorian stuffs the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Grigorian. No joy for Sadaval on that attempt. Sadaval closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Grigorian quickly recovers to half guard. Grigorian trying to hold on to Sadaval's head to control him but Sadaval postures up.
Grigorian moves into full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sadaval wanted to stand there but Grigorian had control of the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Razmik Grigorian will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like Horacio Sadaval has been cut. Grigorian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Razmik Grigorian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sadaval misses with a takedown attempt and Grigorian counters with a stiff right hand. Razmik Grigorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Horacio Sadaval. Grigorian throws a body shot but no joy. Grigorian gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sadaval prevents Grigorian from getting back to his feet. Sadaval wants to get up but he can't break Grigorian's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sadaval wants to stand and escape but instead Grigorian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Grigorian stands up over Sadaval, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sadaval keeping full guard, as Grigorian tries to pass. Grigorian postures up in Sadaval's guard and throws a big left but Sadaval blocks it. Sadaval is looking to stand up but Grigorian isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Grigorian's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Grigorian stops Sadaval from standing up. Grigorian stands and steps away. Sadaval gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Sadaval misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sadaval darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Horacio Sadaval has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Grigorian slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Razmik Grigorian is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sadaval wants to stand but Grigorian has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sadaval wants to stand and escape but instead Grigorian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Grigorian sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Razmik Grigorian showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grigorian, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
