The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San Nicholas chopping away at his opponent's legs.
San Nicholas misses with a low kick.
San Nicholas throws a head kick that misses.

Kinkead is trying to pull guard but San Nicholas has him pressed against the cage.
Kinkead jumps guard but San Nicholas stands there with Kinkead around his waist. Kinkead gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
San Nicholas is trying to force a seperation but Kinkead has the dominant position.
Kinkead has San Nicholas pressed against the cage, preventing San Nicholas from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kinkead pulls San Nicholas into guard.
Kinkead escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. San Nicholas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kinkead has a closed guard, preventing San Nicholas from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kinkead preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

San Nicholas trying to control but Kinkead is working from the bottom.
Kinkead looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but San Nicholas is defending well. Kinkead quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! San Nicholas has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kinkead celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
