Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renato Oliveira (ranked 1407 p4p, 3411 weight class) and Wilbur Ratt (ranked 183 p4p, 380 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Renato Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wilbur Ratt!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice uppercut there from Ratt.
Oliveira lunges at Ratt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ratt's hand.
Ratt swings for the body but Oliveira moves out of range.
Ratt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ratt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Oliveira's head backwards.
Oliveira lands with a hook. Ratt tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ratt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ratt lands a nice shot to the body.
Ratt looks to land a left hand but Oliveira moved out of range nicely.

We've been hearing reports that Oliveira has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ratt lands a left hand that snaps the head of Oliveira backwards.
Oliveira is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ratt to keep the fight standing.

Oliveira throws a lazy right hand but Ratt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ratt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oliveira's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ratt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Oliveira misses with a takedown attempt - Ratt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oliveira takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Wilbur Ratt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Ratt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Oliveira momentarily.

Oliveira ducks into an uppercut from Ratt and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
