Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benson Beckley (ranked 2488 p4p, 2819 weight class) and Ty Wong (ranked 225 p4p, 250 weight class). Benson Beckley had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Benson Beckley could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ty Wong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ty Wong!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Beckley. Wong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Beckley rushes Wong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wong has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Wong as Beckley tries to tie him up.
Wong is looking for a takedown.
Beckley blocks a body shot from Wong.
Wong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Beckley prevents it.
Benson Beckley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ty Wong.
Beckley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wong uses from the top position.
Beckley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wong is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Wong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Let's hope that Wong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Beckley wants to get back to full guard but Wong has mounted him!

Beckley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wong on the ground.

Wong is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Beckley is forced to tap! Great finish!

In his post fight interview, Ty Wong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
