Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderson Machado (ranked 74 p4p, 232 weight class) and Joey Simone (ranked 4 p4p, 33 weight class). Machado comes to the cage accompanied by El Barrio. Simone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gucci Mane - Trap God Intro. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wanderson Machado!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Simone!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simone jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Simone missing with a left hand there. Machado was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Machado throws a leg kick but Simone sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Simone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Machado lands a nice leg kick that just misses Simone's sensitive parts.
Simone connects with the punch.
Simone misses with a hook to the body
and Machado counters with a nice right hand that sends Simone toppling to the canvas! Simone scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Machado finish him?!
It looks like Joey Simone has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Machado takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Simone misses with a hook to the body
and Machado counters with a low kick, right behind Simone 's knee.
Simone thuds a left hand into Machado's body.
Simone throws a poor cross that misses
and Machado counters with a thumping low kick.
Simone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Machado throws a lazy uppercut
and Simone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Machado on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Simone looks to score with a jab to the body but Machado is just out of range.
Simone just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMachado.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simone throws a hook but Machado blocks it.
A counter left hand to the body from Machado misses its target.
Machado looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Simone misses with a left hand
and Machado counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Simone falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
