Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royal Halsti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halsti misses with a hook to the body

and Peterson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Peterson.
Halsti avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Halsti looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Peterson throwing strikes from guard but Halsti blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Halsti preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peterson lands a couple of digs.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Peterson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Peterson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Peterson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peterson postures up in Halsti's guard and throws a big left but Halsti blocks it.
Peterson stands up over Halsti, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Halsti is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Peterson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Halsti throws up his legs and catches Peterson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Peterson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Halsti! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Royal Halsti!
During a confident post fight interview, Royal Halsti thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
