Edwards kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Damian Marley - Road to Zion. Philippe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chant vaudou haitien. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Edwards counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've been informed that Philippe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Edwards cracks Philippe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
