Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fezzik Montoya (ranked 3380 p4p, 3207 weight class) and Thomas Rose (ranked 346 p4p, 322 weight class). Montoya comes to the cage accompanied by The Other thing. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Thomas Rose enters the cage!

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Rose!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose takes a swing at Montoya's ribcage but misses.
Montoya looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Montoya throws a poor cross that misses
and Rose counters with a nice right hand that sends Montoya toppling to the canvas! Montoya scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rose finish him?!
It looks like Fezzik Montoya has been cut.
Montoya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rose circles away quickly and effectively.
Montoya tries to clinch up.
A big left from Rose misses.
Montoya lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Montoya stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Rose creates a bit of distance for himself, with Montoya pressed up against the cage and cracks Montoya with a massive uppercut! Montoya goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Rose!
