The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokopenko has a takedown stuffed.
Markovic lands a nice shot that snaps Prokopenko's head back.
Markovic delivers a nice body kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Prokopenko or perhaps it was just good defense by Markovic, which made it look bad.
Markovic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Prokopenko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Markovic pinned against the cage. Markovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nedjeljko Markovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uladzimir Prokopenko.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Prokopenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Markovic tries to avoid it but Prokopenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Markovic to the ground. Markovic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Prokopenko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A quick step to the side and Markovic tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Markovic's corner calls for a 1-2. Markovic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Markovic connects with a combination that backs up Prokopenko into the cage. Markovic lands a flurry of punches that gets past Prokopenko's guard. Prokopenko is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Markovic bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
