Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bass there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lewis throws a chopping leg kick but Bass manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lewis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Lennox Lewis has been cut.
Lewis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bass is out of range.

and Lewis counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lewis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lewis feints and then cracks Bass's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bass down.

A nice leg kick lands there from Lewis.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bass misses with a looping left.
Lewis cracks Bass with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Lewis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bass doesn't seem phased though.

Lewis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lewis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bass jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Lewis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bass throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lewis counters with an inside leg kick.

and Bass counters with a straight right hand.
Bass cracks Lewis with an open hand slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Bass forces Lewis back against the cage and clinches.

Lewis manages to break the clinch.
Lewis throws a leg kick
and Bass counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Lennox Lewis's cut is getting worse.
Lewis looks to land a combination but Bass avoids it well.
Bass walks into a left hand.
Nice straight punches there by Lewis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lewis.
Lennox Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bass cracks Lewis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bass has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lewis to stand back up!

Lennox Lewis's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Lewis ducks into an uppercut from Bass and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Sam Bass really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Phoenix logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
