Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Silver! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silver on his heels. He'll look to pass Silver's guard now, I'm sure. Anstey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silver wants to improve his position but instead Anstey has moved into half guard.

Anstey controlling the pace. Silver won't allow Anstey to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anstey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Anstey prevents Silver from improving his position. Anstey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silver felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Anstey sitting and controlling from the half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Anstey prevents Silver from improving his position. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Anstey walks into a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silver defending well as Anstey loads up on a big left hand. Terry Silver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Silver misses with a double jab.
Anstey tries to clinch up and Anstey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Anstey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silver. We've been told by Anstey's head coaches at Sparks gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Silver scores with a jab. Anstey acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Anstey is rocked! Terry Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silver stuffs the takedown attempt from Anstey. Anstey gets slowly back to his feet. Despite the aggression on Silver's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Oh Anstey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Silver sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Anstey's defenses. It connects perfectly with Anstey's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
