Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Blaird (ranked 25100 p4p, 3470 weight class) and Blade Blake (ranked 619 p4p, 468 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Albert Blaird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blade Blake!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaird goes for a double leg but Blake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Blake continues to drive forward.
Blake jumps guard but Blaird stands there with Blake around his waist. Blake gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Blake pulls guard effortlessly.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blaird accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blake working for a triangle but Blaird defends it easily.

Blake looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Blake has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at CHECMATE PRIME MMA . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Blaird in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Blaird throws a big right hand that misses.
Blaird's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blaird postures up in Blake's guard and throws a big left but Blake blocks it.

Blake is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blaird is aware though and is defending well.
Blaird throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Blaird is looking to work some ground and pound but Blake has wrist control.

Blaird has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Blake to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blaird is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Blake pulls down on the head and he's put Blaird to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Blade Blake!
A very excited looking Blade Blake made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Albert Blaird stepped up to the mic, saying 'lets go and enjoy ferret racing together!! i mean back to training jajaja'.
