Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Wiener (ranked 1562 p4p, 1591 weight class) and Bryan Gracie (ranked 235 p4p, 238 weight class). Gracie has chosen Limp Bizkit - Rollin' as his entrance music. The key to victory for Walter Wiener has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie gets the takedown into side control.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wiener, who protects the arm well.
Gracie wants to control but Wiener is keeping him busy.
Wiener wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wiener is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Wiener knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Wiener pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gracie tries to move to mount but Wiener blocks the move with his legs.
Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wiener knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Wiener sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wiener is working Gracie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Wiener avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wiener postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wiener doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wiener manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wiener wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.

Wiener wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wiener looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiener is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gracie won't allow Wiener to get back to his feet.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Wiener keeps moving.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wiener manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Wiener in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wiener is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wiener is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wiener! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wiener taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bryan Gracie!
A very excited looking Bryan Gracie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
