The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brown stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Brown flicks out a counter leg kick but Bigg steps away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bigg feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.

Bigg cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brown looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bigg finish him?

Crusty Bigg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bigg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bigg cracks Brown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bigg goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brown takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Brown looks to throw the jab but Bigg is out of range.

Bigg feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brown sprawling to the canvas! Brown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bigg finish him?!
Crusty Bigg is winning the standup battle so far.
Bigg keeps Brown at a distance using the push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bigg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brown steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bigg.

Brown now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Bigg throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Brown might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bigg has got the better of the exchanges.
