Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamil Hurst (ranked 846 p4p, 2232 weight class) and Marko Zrinski (ranked 116 p4p, 280 weight class). Hurst comes into the arena with Keep Their Heads Ringin' blaring out of the sound system. Zrinski has chosen Devil eyes as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Zrinski!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It seemed like Zrinski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hurst looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Zrinski appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Zrinski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zrinski wants it to stay on the feet.
Zrinski swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Zrinski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Zrinski cracks Hurst with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zrinski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hurst to stand back up!

Hurst is rocked!
Hurst leaves his chin hanging out and Zrinski seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hurst crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marko Zrinski!
A relieved looking Marko Zrinski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
