Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Jones (ranked 4920 p4p, 5160 weight class) and Lou Rossetti (ranked 494 p4p, 503 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by The Joker - Steve Miller Band. Lou Rossetti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lou Rossetti! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rossetti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rossetti throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Rossetti counters with a straight right hand. Rossetti tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch. Jones pushes Rossetti back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jones lands an elbow that stopped Rossetti in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Lou Rossetti has been cut. Jones tries a body shot but Rossetti blocks it.
Rossetti jumps guard but Jones stands there with Rossetti around his waist. Rossetti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rossetti goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
Bob Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lou Rossetti. Rossetti lands a nice elbow. Rossetti is looking for a takedown. Jones lands a damaging elbow. Rossetti displaying some good clinch control by pressing Jones up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones digs a right hand into Rossetti's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rossetti's gas tank. Rossetti has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle. Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rossetti's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That has opened up Lou Rossetti's cut even more. Jones tries to work over Rossetti's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jones lands with a right to the head. Jones lands a body shot. Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jones lands an uppercut. Rossetti looks winded! Rossetti wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones lands a body shot in the clinch.
Jones lands an uppercut. Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Rossetti backwards.
The cut above Lou Rossetti's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jones lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rossetti backwards.
Rossetti is rocked! Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Rossetti is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Nice body punch from Jones - that landed with a thud.
Jones digs a right hand underneath Rossetti's ribcage. Rossetti let out a lung full of air as it connected. Jones lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jones works on Rossetti's body with a couple of short punches. Jones creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rossetti's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rossetti drops to his knees and Jones pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Jones! Bob Jones seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
