Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Corona Virus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gothic Line!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Line misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Line misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Line punishes Virus's body with a nice straight punch.
Line throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Virus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Line.
Virus moves out of range of the strikes.
Virus was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Line swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab by Line.
It looks like Corona Virus has been cut.
Line throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Virus to counter with a crisp jab.
A solid body kick from Line.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Line tries to close the distance and clinch but Virus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Virus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Virus is breathing heavily.
Virus slips under a jab.
Virus fires out a quick counter leg kick but Line just manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Line misses the target.
Line dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Line lands a big uppercut and Virus crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Virus looks OK. Line waves Virus back to his feet!
Virus is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Line throws a pinpoint strike between Virus's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Virus crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Line scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gothic Line!
