Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khalil Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett throws a hook to the side of Barbosa's head but Barbosa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Barbosa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burnett.
Burnett lands with a straight right. Barbosa didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Lucas Barbosa has been cut.
Khalil Burnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barbosa shoots and misses
and Burnett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

And Barbosa tries to counter it with a takedown but Burnett pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Barbosa dives in for a single leg takedown but Burnett sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barbosa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burnett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
