Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikkard Hanson (ranked 3866 p4p, 1395 weight class) and Uestus Johnston (ranked 437 p4p, 178 weight class). Johnston comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Clint Eastwood- Gorillaz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rikkard Hanson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Johnston as Hanson shoots in.
Johnston looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hanson fails with the takedown
and Johnston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hanson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnston sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rikkard Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnston shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hanson eats them both and turns towards Johnston to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hanson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnston sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hanson somewhat.
A little jabbing left from Johnston on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hanson is breathing heavily.
Johnston lands a nice looking body shot.
Rikkard Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnston digs a good hook to Hanson's body.
Johnston scores with a nice right hand.
Johnston lands a jab.
Hanson is rocked!
It looks like Rikkard Hanson has been cut.
Johnston drops Hanson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Johnston follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Uestus Johnston decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
