Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Bermalingo (ranked 1748 p4p, 2723 weight class) and Raymond Lee (ranked 251 p4p, 380 weight class). Rocco Bermalingo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Bermalingo moved out of range nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Bermalingo lands with a hook. Lee tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

And Lee tries to counter it with a takedown but Bermalingo pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lee lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bermalingo to the mat! Bermalingo manages to get full guard.
Bermalingo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lee manages to pass to side control.

Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
