Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ed Ford (ranked 1071 p4p, 1957 weight class) and Karl Hermann (ranked 94 p4p, 175 weight class). Ford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Trivium - Strife . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karl Hermann!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hermann's sensitive parts.

Hermann takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The fighters circling - Ford throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hermann throws a hook to the side of Ford's head but Ford sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ford is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hermann doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Ford crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Ford's bad books for that mishap!

Our winner, Karl Hermann, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
