Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Francesco Mariani (ranked 3659 p4p, 5799 weight class) and Keegan Bellemare (ranked 301 p4p, 378 weight class). Mariani comes to the cage accompanied by Adiemus. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bellemare gets caught flat footed, as Mariani shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bellemare is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bellemare on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mariani lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mariani has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mariani wants to pass to mount but Bellemare is defending the position.
