Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Henke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heiji Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Henke could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Heiji Endo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Henke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heiji Endo!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Endo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Endo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Henke pinned against the cage. Henke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Endo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
No luck for Endo with that takedown attempt.
Tom Henke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heiji Endo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Endo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henke tries to avoid it but Endo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henke to the ground. Henke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Henke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Endo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henke's waist but Henke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Endo off to one side.
Henke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Henke lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Heiji Endo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henke throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Henke parries the strikes from Endo easily there. Endo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Henke to escape.

Endo tries for a kimura but Henke is defending well.
Endo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Endo content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Endo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Endo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henke keeps working.
Henke isn't going anywhere.
Endo trying to control the position but Henke is working away.
Endo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Henke sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tom Henke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Endo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Henke has escaped the position, nice work there.
Henke tries to buck Endo off but Endo is having none of it.

Endo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Heiji Endo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Endo tries to advance to mount but Henke denies him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Henke's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Henke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Endo moves away.
Endo misses with a double jab
and Henke counters with a three punch combo that has Endo backing up. Endo nods at Henke to acknowledge the strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Endo with a poor takedown
and Henke counters with a body kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Heiji Endo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Henke has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
