Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Awee Bidziil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bidziil fails with a takedown attempt.
Bidziil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Larkin as he avoids it easily.
Larkin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Larkin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Larkin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bidziil throws a hook but Larkin blocks it.
It seemed like Larkin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bidziil misses with an uppercut
and Larkin counters with a straight right hand.
That kick from Larkin tenderised Bidziil's leg. Bidziil is trying to keep his angry face on.
Larkin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bidziil.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bidziil rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Larkin counters with a straight right hand.
Larkin slips under a jab from Bidziil.
Bidziil throws a sloppy head kick and Larkin moves out of range easily.
Larkin connects with a solid leg kick.
Larkin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bidziil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Larkin but Larkin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Awee Bidziil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Larkin moves out of range of the strikes.
Bidziil on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Larkin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bidziil.
Larkin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bidziil has been working on his balance at Pure Progress Fitness, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Larkin.
Bidziil shoots in for a takedown but Larkin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Larkin lands a high kick!
Larkin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bidziil walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Larkin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bidziil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Larkin was well out of range. Poor timing from Bidziil.
A nice side step and Larkin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bidziil misses with the combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bidziil.

Larkin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bidziil quickly recovers to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Larkin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Larkin working the head and body with strikes.
Bidziil wants to control but Larkin is keeping busy.
Larkin slows the pace down in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Larkin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Larkin is trying to work for a kimura but Bidziil is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bidziil wants to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Larkin seems content to control.

Larkin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bidziil defend it? Larkin steps over the head and cranks it - Bidziil is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Larkin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Conor Larkin!
