Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dru Quick (ranked 22001 p4p, 22021 weight class) and Jake Demuss (ranked 573 p4p, 558 weight class). Quick comes to the ring accompanied by Gangster's Paradise- Coolio. Demuss comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dru Quick could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jake Demuss's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Demuss!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick loads up on a big right hand but Demuss slips the punch.
Dru Quick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Demuss connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Quick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Demuss sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Demuss lands with a nice body kick.
Quick throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Demuss! But no joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Demuss connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Quick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Demusss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Demuss. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

and Demuss makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Quick really felt that one!
Quick on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Quick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Demuss circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Jake Demuss.
I've got Demuss winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
