Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abdul Rahman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nova Lankinen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lankinen on the side of the head.
Lankinen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rahman throws a jab but it's blocked by Lankinen.
Rahman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lankinen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rahman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lankinen counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Abdul Rahman has been cut.
Rahman throws a lazy uppercut
and Lankinen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rahman! Lankinen lets Rahman back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Rahman is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lankinen drops Rahman with a naaaaasty hook - Rahman is in real trouble here! Lankinen dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nova Lankinen!
